Chinese automaker, Great Wall Motors (GWM) has started mass producing electric vehicles from its Rayong factory in Thailand. Its first vehicles rolled off the production line on the 12th of January, making them the first locally produced pure electric vehicles in the country. Additionally, GWM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Thai government securing its presence in the region.
