Clean technology innovator in battery materials Nano One® Materials Corp. (Nano One) and BASF SE (BASF), a globally active chemical company with substantial experience in battery materials development and manufacture, have signed a joint development agreement (JDA). The two companies will co-develop a manufacture process with the aim of reducing by-products for commercial production of next-generation cathode active materials (CAM). The JDA will utilise BASF’s HEDTM-family of advanced CAM and Nano One’s patented One-Pot process and metal direct to CAM (M2CAM®) technologies.
