Li-Cycle, ECO STOR and Morrow Batteries have announced a joint venture to establish a battery recycling facility in southern Norway.
The facility will be Li-Cycle’s first European site with a processing capacity of up to 10,000 tonnes of end-of-life batteries annually. Li-Cycle has partnered with two Norwegian based companies, ECO STOR and Morrow Batteries, to produce an integrated closed loop battery production, re-use, and recycling solution to the Nordic market. Li-Cycle will also extend their strategic relationship with Koch Engineered Solutions who will fabricate the site.
