General Motors, one of the largest domestic car manufacturers in the US has announced it will work in collaboration with Tesla to integrate the North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector design into its EVs. The first vehicles built by General Motors to include a NACS port for direct access will roll off the assembly lines in 2025, however, from 2024 the Tesla Supercharger Network will be open to GM electric vehicle drivers. This initial period will require the use of an adapter but means consumers choosing a GM vehicle between now and 2025 will not lose out on this benefit.
