Swedish vehicle manufacturer Volvo Group and US-based petroleum corporation Pilot Company have signed a letter of intent to develop a network of public charging infrastructure for medium and heavy-duty vehicles in North America. The partnership will combine Volvo’s experience in Class 8 battery electric trucks and charging solutions with Pilot Company’s network of refuelling stations to enable widespread electrification of medium and heavy-duty transport in the region.
