French supermarket chain, Carrefour, has signed a partnership with charge point operator (CPO), Eleport, to install charging stations at 70 of its stores in Poland. With over 11,000 stores across Europe, Carrefour’s locations offer prime strategic opportunities for CPOs. This latest agreement is part of a broader effort by Carrefour to enhance the accessibility of its stores for EV drivers.
Partnership with Eleport in Poland
Eleport, an Estonian CPO operates 550 charging points across Poland and the Baltics. Its partnership with Carrefour will cover 70 locations, adding a total of 170 charging points to its network. While no specific details about charging speeds have been announced, the network will likely include a mix of 22kW and 50kW chargers, similar to Eleport’s other locations in Poland.
