Electric two-wheeler producer, Yadea, announced recently it had opened the world’s first sodium-ion battery swapping station. Located in Shenzhen, in the Special Economic Zone the opening follows the company releasing its first sodium ion powered two-wheeler.
A first swapping station following its sodium ion moped
The swapping station consists of module cabinets capable of holding up to six battery packs each. The pilot swapping station consists of two cabinets totaling a 12-battery capacity. The station is for the Ji Na No.1, Yadea’s inaugural sodium ion battery, which is used in Yadea’s Ji Na G25 electric moped.
