Andi Technology, a 50/50 joint venture between DiDi Autonomous Driving and GAC Aion, has received a business license to mass produce Level 4 autonomous vehicles. The first model will debut next year and be incorporated into DiDi’s shared mobility network. This announcement follows collaboration between the two companies which started in 2021.  

Largescale production of autonomous vehicles

Andi will release an electric SUV for its first model, that will be built using GAC Aion’s AEP 3.0 platform and X-soul architecture, and DiDi Autonomous Driving’s Level 4 autonomous vehicle driving technology. The company aims to produce 100,000 vehicles in its first year.
