The US Department of Energy (DoE) has announced over USD3 billion in grants to boost the country’s domestic battery supply chain. This funding will be distributed across 25 projects and focuses on five key areas: battery manufacturing, component manufacturing, raw materials, separation & processing, and recycling. The primary goal of this initiative is to stimulate growth within the US manufacturing sector and reduce the country’s reliance on imported goods.
